This project supports traditional heritage skills of Ireland which are seen and still needed in County Wicklow.  It will feature a symposium and workshops by skilled crafts people in the areas of iron-smelting, metalsmithing and casting, stone carving, and masonry. 

It will produce an engaging and educational film that highlights the core themes, activities, and impact of the InHand Forum, and that shares with the wider public  via social media platforms and websites, to raise awareness, celebrate traditional heritage skills, and inspire community engagement. 

The project will capture for both live and future digital audiences the diversity of heritage skills being discussed, demonstrated and taught.  It will capture the energy, collaboration and learning taking place and exchange of these important crafts.  It will include reflections through interviews with craft artisans, participants and stakeholders, highlighting the hands on process and emphasising the importance of knowledge sharing and preservation of heritage skills and crafts in County Wicklow.
