Two bespoke, 5 foot sculptures of cats will be placed on plinths for an exhibition dotted around the City. The exhibition will consist of a total of 21 cats which are painted by 21 artists, some established, some up and coming, and will be dotted around the City from July 2021 to Feb 2022.

Catwalk Kilkenny 2021 website will be developed together with various social media platforms and an app for visitors to engage with the project. Interested parties can “sponsor” a cat prior to the launch of the trail and own the piece of artwork on completion of the project.

The Sculptures are auctioned/pre-sold at the end of the exhibition or sponsored at the start and the net proceeds will be used by the Civic Trust to renovate the Alms House at Medieval Mile Museum.
