Living Artfully: Inclusive, Collaborative, and Accessible by Design

Living Artfully is an exciting two-year partnership between Kilkenny and Carlow County Councils, bringing together a vibrant network of multidisciplinary stakeholders. This project is all about making health and wellbeing support truly accessible—right in the heart of our communities.

What makes Living Artfully special is its collaborative spirit. We’re working hand-in-hand with Traveller Support Services, Dementia-Friendly Initiatives, Mental Health Services, Social Prescribing, HSE Carlow/Kilkenny, Disability Services, and more. Together, we’re creating a wraparound service where creativity and culture are woven into everyday life.

Everyone is welcome—regardless of age, ability, or background. Through music, art, movement, and creative expression, we’re opening doors to wellbeing, confidence, and connection. Our hands-on, inclusive approach ensures that every participant can engage meaningfully and joyfully.

By championing accessibility and partnership, Living Artfully is building a stronger, more connected community—where everyone can share in the richness of cultural life and feel supported to thrive.
