Longford County Fleadh Cheoil is back for 2025 and takes place in Granard, Co Longford.

Music, song, dance, storytelling and Comhra Gaeilge competitions will take place in the Cnoc Mhuire, Granard on the 9th to the 11th of May. These competitions will range in age groups, from U12, 12-15, 15-18 and over 18 competitions. The winners of these competitions will go on to represent County Longford at the Leinster competitions in July and the All Ireland in Wexford in August.

On Saturday morning, we have a junior fleadh, which caters for our younger musicians who are just starting out and gives them great confidence in their musicial and dancing skills which are just starting. These competitions cater for U6, U8 and U10. All competitors get a medal and everyone is a winner. We were the first county to start the junior fleadh over 10 years ago. 

Over the weekend there will also be a launch event in The Library in Granard and there will be music, song and dance around the town for the whole weekend, including pubs and weather permitting on the streets as well.
