Lost In The Briars – Botanical Art Class with Jane Carkill & Live Music by Simon O'Reilly

Join artist and illustrator Jane Carkill for a unique botanical art workshop focused on the bramble and its fruit, the blackberry, at the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon, on Sunday, August 31st. Participants will explore and illustrate the plant’s intricate nature under Jane’s guidance, accompanied by a live ambient music performance by composer Simon O’Reilly.

Jane Carkill, a west coast-based illustrator and textile designer, draws inspiration from folklore and nature’s ephemeral beauty. Simon O’Reilly, a multi-instrumentalist and composer, has collaborated with renowned artists and scored award-winning films including The Summit.
