Monk is a 23 min long film which explores the life of early Christian monks in the 6th century on Inismurray Island in County Sligo through site-responsive sculptures. It was originally shown and at the Hamilton Gallery in Sligo in August 2025 as part of Tread Softly festival 2024. This project is a series of film outdoor screenings of Monk at three locations, bringing the film directly to communities at unique locations and places of interest in County Sligo. Tread Softly have included this project in their 2026 festival programme, scheduled for the last week of August.
