Murals of Diversity in Our Community

A Dublin City Council Creative Diversity Programme is now being established between the Social Inclusion Unit and the Community & Social Development Office. Thanks to Creative Ireland funding, collaborative projects with a unifying theme of diversity are being rolled out to hard to reach or marginalised communities within the Dublin City area.

We are excited to launch activations in the 5 Administrative Areas, where local community groups and selected street artists will come together under the umbrella of Diversity to produce creative bodies of work in the form of murals.

Local Community Development Officers have identified walls or hoarding that would benefit from such activations and empower local communities to participate in these creative bodies of work.

The areas of the city include a wide span from the North Inner City to Finglas, Ballymun, Ballyfermot and Darndale. Carefully selected local community groups are working closely with street artist from All City, who are passionate about high quality art for our streets and strongly believe this art has the potential to create pride in our city.

Each mural will represent a unique story of diversity in each local area.

Please note that the details of events listed above are provided by the relevant Local Authorities.
