Music in the Moment is an engaging programme of live performances across Dún Laoghaire Rathdown. It brings high quality cultural music experiences to older people living in residential settings in the area, with the aim to have a positive impact on the lives of older people, including those living with dementia. 

Music in the Moment enables dlr to work with highly skilled musicians, Ruairí O'Shea, Eamon Sweeney and Lisa McGuinness, and Gerald Peregrine's Mobile Music Machine, who are delivering 6 interactive music performances in each setting. We are thrilled to partner with 5 settings across dlr, Belmont House, Stillorgan, Dalkey Community Unit, Glengara Park Nursing Home, Glasthule, Simpsons Hospital, Dundrum and Fern Dean Nursing Home Blackrock.
