This project seeks to explore the variety of communities and groups within Waterford who are inspired creatively, and in their everyday lives, by their religious and spiritual beliefs and heritage. 

Part social documentation, part consultation and network building, Waterford Gallery of Art are hosting a series of workshops for groups (on/offsite) and have commissioned a photographic series of images highlighting the tradition, and diversity of these active groups. 

This project is an extension of the Waterford Gallery of Art’s current exhibition, ‘Faith in the Process’ investigating the connections between Irish Art and its association to religious and spiritual ideas, motifs and means of production - from Dolmen, folklore, manuscripts, stained glass, architecture and more.
