Offaly Libraries Comic Con is a one-day programme of events, including workshops, crafts, competitions, activities and vendor stalls.

The library is transformed into a typical Comic Con exhibition space with a variety of pop culture spectacles, including Star Wars and Predator cosplayers, Viking and Medieval Knight combat re-enactments, and much more.  Lego Freeplay, a VEX Robotics Arena, a Crafts Corner and a Virtual Reality Zone will be on offer for all attendees. 

For more traditional Comic Con attendees, a games room area will be available to promote storytelling through play and is suitable for all ages. 

The cosplay competition features 5 different categories - Children, Young Adult, Adult, Homemade and Judge's Choice.
