Dunshaughlin and District Historical Society have previously recorded some oral history interviews with the older members of their community.  The Society now wish to develop an Oral History Collection this year with their elderly residents. 

In 2024, the  Society  purchased two sets of recording equipment to help them capture these interviews. They now wish to receive training on how to use this equipment and also how to use mobile phones for video recordings, interview procedures, editing techniques, presentation and storage techniques.  The training will also include information on GDPR and the safe storage of sensitive information. 

This training will also equip the group with the skills to record high quality content that they can share on their social media page to promote local history and activities.
