Join us for the Town of Books Festival on August 25th, 2024, in Graiguenamanagh. Enjoy outdoor painting led by Jamie Dunne amidst the scenic beauty of Mount Brandon and the River Barrow. All levels welcome! 

Curious to find out what it's like plein air paint? Have never tried it before or don't have the set up to start ?Join us at the Old Dock for an opportunity to paint outdoors and give it a try. We will have some work stations set up for you to try for your first time. We will have materials available on the day for you to utilise and sample whats it's like to paint outdoors This is intended for absolute beginners , those with lots of enthusiasm , curiosity and little to no experience. A fun , informal way to get involved and give it a try.

Event One: August 23rd, 2-5pm - Live street music & paint out at the Old Dock. Open to all.

Event Two: August 24th, 10am-12pm - Beginners' plein air painting at the Old Dock. Materials provided.

Event Three: August 24th, 9am-6pm - Plein air painting, street exhibition, and prize giving.

Bring your easels, brushes, and creativity, and join fellow artists in capturing the stunning landscapes of Graiguenamanagh. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, this event is open to all.
