Artists are an incredible resource for communities, with the unique ability to unlock creativity - even in those who may feel disconnected from that part of their lives. However, for many artists, working in community settings is a new and unfamiliar experience. 

The Arts Office at Mayo County Council supports artists through a continuous professional development programme designed to build the skills and confidence needed to work creatively and collaboratively across communities in the county. This programme nurtures Mayo’s many talented artists, helping them to become facilitators of inclusive, meaningful creative engagement.
