Bird Watch Ireland Meath (BWIM) will conduct a project focusing on the conservation and protection of two critically endangered bird species in County Meath: The Barn Owl and the Swift.

Following on from Meath surveys of both by Birdwatch Ireland over the last 2 years, BWIM will continue to highlight the issues facing these red-listed birds, and the threats facing their populations from habitat loss and changing environmental conditions.

Through a combination of guided walks, educational events, and hands-on conservation efforts, they aim to raise awareness and take proactive steps toward ensuring their survival.
