Scouting in Carlow Town, 90 Years Growing

The founding of Scouting began in England when Robert Baden-Powell held the first Scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907. The movement quickly spread to Ireland, and elsewhere around the world. Carlow County Museum will be hosting a special exhibition “Scouting in Carlow Town, 90 Years Growing”, which will explore the growth, development and evolution of Scouting in Carlow, right through to the present day.

Please check with Carlow County Museum for opening hours, and exhibition scheduling.
