Small Seeds 2025
Small Seeds is a slow-growing arts and environmental project, rooted in care and connections between people, plants, and place. Always in favour of a snail’s pace, Small Seeds has been meandering through the seasons since 2021, led by artist Brenda Kearney in collaboration with associate workshop artists and educators.
Through a series of workshops and gatherings—some in-person, some online—participants are invited to observe and creatively engage with the natural world through drawing, creative writing, mindfulness, and other approaches.
In-person workshops will take place this year in late summer, set in the beautiful surroundings of Lodge Park Walled Garden in Straffan. All workshops must be pre-booked; please follow Small Seeds on Instagram or connect via email for updates on event dates and booking information.
An online drawing course will run in early autumn, alongside a course in mindfulness. Booking information will be available online.
For more information or to book, contact lead artist Brenda Kearney at teabypost@gmail.com
This project is primarily for adult participants, although some events will be open to young people (with the stipulation that under 14s are accompanied by a parent or guardian). All workshops/events are free.
