Led by Western Care through their Count Me In program, this hands-on creative project brings people together to explore the traditional crafts of stained-glass and pyrography (woodburning). Participants will learn how to design, cut and assemble colourful glass pieces, as well as use heated tools to burn beautiful designs into wood. Starting with small items like coasters and decorations, and progressing to larger projects, the workshops encourage creativity, patience, and skill-building. Rooted in inclusion and community, the project offers a supportive space where individuals can express themselves artistically, connect with others, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of focused, mindful making.
