In 2025 we will be celebrating 10 years of the Sligo North side Film Project - teaching, training and
supporting local communities in Film, Storytelling and Editing using up-to-date equipment and
technologies.
We wish to host TEN OUT OF TEN - a celebration evening, in the centre, showcasing 10 films that have been made by the learners over the past 10 years and refreshments.
The audience will include previous participants of the course and members of the public. The
programme will include short films, short documentary, sketches form, utilizing traditional and modern forms of storytelling such as short reels, Video art and visual poetry, among others.
This will double up as a networking event for local filmmakers and film crew to highlight the creative work, creative community and creative economy that the Sligo North side Film Project has created and supported over the past 10 years.
The project will involve compiling lists and contacting previous participants, sending invitations,
organising and publicising the event, supporting filmmakers with technical requirements to showcase work, additional editing of videos for the programme, technician to set up and run the films and event organiser to organise the venue with catering and refreshments.
