A day of celebration, sharing & reflection on sensory arts for children with complex needs.

Presented by Ceol Connected in association with Meath County Council, Cavan County Council, Monaghan County Council & Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan.  

Lullaby Leaf is a captivating, fun-filled, & immersive sensory theatre experience for young children with complex needs. 

It is an intimate & soothing show where a sensory world is brought to life through music & song, light, smell, movement, & touch. Our special guests are invited to relax on a giant leaf & enjoy a beautiful colourful leafy canopy overhead. There’s an opportunity for children & their adults to experience whooshing winds, gigantic raindrops, lots of busy bugs, calming smells,  & beautiful bursts of colour as the leaf gently unfurls.  

As part of the Lullaby Leaf project, Ceol Connected are delighted to present a one-day Lullaby Leaf Symposium at the Garage Theatre, Monaghan town on Tuesday 21st October. This full day event has been tailored to the needs of artists, educators & others interested in learning skills & gaining experience & understanding in the area of sensory arts for children with complex needs.  

Attendees will get the opportunity to observe Lullaby Leaf live & reflect & discuss their experience with other participants. We will also explore a wide range of fun & accessible sensory materials & ideas & examine how artistic practice can be adapted to facilitate a more sensory approach.
