The Resonant Body Project
A project between the MS Therapy Centre and the creative practitioner, to make arts activities that are available to the general public, more accessibility to those who face barriers due to living with MS. The project will include a research element that could contribute towards gaining insight in the formats that best enable engagement and participation in creative experiences for those living with MS. The Project will offer a wide range of creative and music based programmes:
•Tracks that Matter - Creating Personal Playlists for Everyday Support
•The Listening Garden - A Sensory Sound & Visual Experience
•Creativity for Wellbeing Program - A Multi-Arts Exploration of the Five Ways to Wellbeing
•Voices at Play - A fun-focused, inclusive singing group for connection & craic
The aim is to remove obstacles to participation, celebrate creativity within a marginalised community & offer a foundation for future arts programming that is inclusive, enjoyable & responsive.
A central aim of this initiative is to gather insight & feedback from participants, which will serve as an essential foundation for shaping future creative programming within the centre. This feedback will inform decisions about accessibility, preferred formats, creative content & approaches that work best for this community, and ultimately help establish a sustainable creative base
