The Significant Trees of Co. Carlow” will be a hardcopy book setting out details of the significant trees of Co. Carlow.

In 2024, Carlow County Council and the Tree Council of Ireland undertook a survey of over 800 significant trees in Co. Carlow, i.e. significant in terms of their size, age, rarity and cultural links.

The book will be a hard copy record of these trees, and will be available through Carow Libraries as an invaluable resource.
