As part of Meath Cruinniú na nÓg 2024, young people from the Fóroige Navan Young People's Development (NYPD) project worked with local artist, Mark Smith to create a beautiful, unique piece of typography art to amplify their voices within their community. Building on the momentum of this work and the enthusiasm for creative engagement that it generated, the group will develop a new creative project as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025. 

To prepare for this new work, local creatives Alun Smyth and Mark Smith will conduct a creative concept development process with the group throughout the month of October. Through the use of musical instruments and technology (drum machine software etc), the group will explore their own taste and creative interests. The process will spark creative thinking and idea sharing giving the group the skills to develop their project idea for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025. The process will be youth led and adult supported, ensuring it truly is 'their voice and their process'.
