Threshing it Out!

Drumreilly Active Age will be threshing out old memories, songs, stories and traditions with traditional artists Fionnuala Maxwell, Edwina Guckian and Brian Mostyn as they explore various strawing customs and crafts. 

The group will take part in series of workshops engaging with traditional methods such as crafts using straw, dance to gather and trigger a meitheal of memories, folklore, local songs, stories and customs of the past. These  memories will be gathered and recorded in a variety of ways and will become a   shared memory capsule to be treasured by the wider community.
