Timeless Voice
Timeless Voice is a radio/podcast series that explores themes of ancestry, migration, cultural trauma, and belonging through deep, reflective conversations and immersive sound design. Each episode features diverse contributors—from Irish migrants to indigenous peoples—sharing personal stories that connect cultural identity, memory, and land. The series blends spoken word, original music, and environmental sounds to deepen its narrative, offering a global perspective on shared human experiences. Timeless Voice fosters understanding of cultural heritage and the universal search for connection in a changing world.
In today’s multicultural Ireland, the project seeks to bridge the gap between cultures—whether Irish people reconnecting with lost roots or new communities preserving their own. From the Irish bodhrán to tribal spirit drums, the project listens to the universal heartbeat we all share. The project is a journey through memory, place, and identity. It gives space to those who seek to be heard—not in soundbites, but in depth. It’s a meditation on who we are, where we’ve come from, and how—
through story, music, and reflection—we can begin to understand each other more fully.
The project is coordinated by producer and presenter Noel Murphy and co producer Vanda Brady.
