The Children’s Book Festival is a national festival run annually. In Co. Tipperary it is run by the Library Service in conjunction with the primary schools in the county. This festival of fun celebrates books and all things book related. 

Throughout the month of October, with events running in different libraries around the county, children of all ages, from schools north and south of the county, will visit their local library where they get will get the chance to meet their favourite authors, illustrators and storytellers. All events are interactive – for the little ones it may be a storytelling session complete with puppets. For the older kids a chance to meet a favourite author
