This visual art project ‘Transformed’ develops the notion of the superhero who transforms from a regular person/animal (through external and internal forces) to be superkind, superbrave, superstrong, superhonest, supergood and superselfless. The group intends to work with the artist  Niamh O'Connor  to explore creative ways for the character to shape shift, using photography and video techniques, to learn new artistic skills, develop ideas and produce works of visual art that can be shown publicly. There is potential to explore unerderlying themes e.g. to look at bravery and honesty both from personal experience and in society. Who is brave? Who is important? Who protects the underdog?
