The Sligo Show is a local news and entertainment podcast, recorded and filmed in Sligo.  It is presented by Brendan Tierney, who has created a workshop aimed at transition year students, with the aim of engaging young people in the experience of podcasting, and filming.  

The first phase in the development of 'TY TV' initial contact with a range of schools, as well as research development over a 6 week programme, where students will have the opportunity to learn and gain experience in podcasting,  media, graphic design and marketing.  The second phase would involve the interviewing, recording, filming and editing stages of the developed show. 

The first phase will begin in November 2025, where students will engage in a 6 week course, with  development into the final broadcasted podcast in 2026.
