We’re excited to share that the Culture and Creativity Team has been selected for the Urban95 Academy this year!

 This opportunity allows us to explore how the services of arts, libraries, and heritage can work together to make our towns more welcoming and supportive for children aged 0–5 and their caregivers. It’s an exciting first step, and we’re looking forward to discovering what might come next as we bring creative thinking and community insight together.

As part of this learning journey, we’ll host a workshop in Ballyhaunis, one of the towns that recently completed its Town Centre First Plan and secured funding for a new library. The workshop will bring together a focus group of under-fives and their caregivers to learn more about their experiences and explore the potential for arts, heritage, and libraries to collaborate in creating spaces and activities.
