Westmeath Whisperings is an inclusive composition project that pairs a professional composer with young people from participating County Westmeath schools. The initiative invites children and young people to co-create original compositions inspired by their local landscape, environment, and personal experiences. 

The project fosters creativity, collaboration, and a deeper connection to community. Throughout the process, participants engage in workshops and artistic activities, developing their musical and creative skills, including visual arts and film. The project culminates in a public performance, where the young people will share their compositions, artwork, and film, celebrating their collective journey.

Westmeath Whisperings is centered on co-creation, inclusivity, and personal growth.
