This traditional song and storytelling project will explore folklore from the local area of Taghmon with a group of older people. Facilitated by  traditional singer and folklorist Rachel Ui Fhaolain, the group will examine the music, lyrics and tales of the past, and create, compose and sing new songs and stories about Wexford in the traditional style. The project will culminate with a special community performance event, bringing the outcomes of the project to a wider audience. The project participants will also be encouraged to bring their new repertoire of songs forward to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann singing events in Wexford in August 2024 and 2025.
