Women+ Songwriting, Mentoring & Recording Camp is a free, week-long creative program for young female and gender-expansive songwriters (ages 12–15), designed to empower through mentorship, collaboration, and performance. Inspired by Gráinne Hunt and Megan O’Neill’s experiences as touring artists, the camp addresses the challenges WOMEN+ face in the music industry by offering support, representation, and community.

Led by professional WOMEN+ musicians and creatives, participants will explore songwriting, develop confidence, and connect with like-minded peers in a safe, supportive space. A passion for songwriting is essential; playing an instrument is not required but encouraged.

Throughout the week, participants will receive one-to-one mentorship and work alongside experienced WOMEN+ producers, photographers, videographers, and session musicians. They’ll write and record an original song each, arrange them with a live band, and perform them in a final concert. Each participant will leave with a fully produced song, professional photos, a live performance video, and invaluable insight into the music industry.

Hosted at Riverbank Arts Centre, the camp is open to 12 participants selected via application, based on passion, collaboration skills, and musical goals.
