Working Glas Heroes: Michelle Boyle - Watercolours Walk, Talk and Workshop - Cavan Arts Festival 2025
Working Glas Heroes welcomes the renowned visual artist, Michelle Boyle to the Cavan Arts Festival programme, to lead a very special walk and watercolour workshop along the Kinnypottle River in Con Smith Park.
Duration: 2 hours. Capacity: 20
Participants will walk the riverside, stopping along the way, to draw and paint from nature. The artist believes that, by giving time to look closely at water and landscape, we can better understand how to care for our unique Cavan environment. Participants will be encouraged to get to know the Kinnypottle River in a new way, through the act of looking, drawing and painting.
Beginners welcome, as participants will be guided in the fundamentals of drawing and watercolour-painting.
Michelle is an award-winning artist and leads workshops with national cultural institutions, including the annual Turner watercolour workshop with The National Gallery of Ireland. www.michelleboyle-artist.com
