YouthQuake is a dynamic, youth-led celebration of creativity, identity, and inclusion, bringing together young people from across Cork City through music, dance, art, and collaboration. Developed through thoughtful, participatory processes with local communities, YouthQuake empowers young artists and producers to co-create ambitious, welcoming events that reflect the diverse voices of the city’s youth.

Curated by the Midsummer Youth Assembly and supported by the Local Creative Youth Partnership, YouthQuake will transform Fitzgerald’s Park into a vibrant hub of artistic expression. The event features original music, spoken word, live performances, and interactive workshops in art, writing, and music - designed to spark creativity and connection.

This inter-community collaboration includes contributions from youth groups, UCC, and local organisations, with creative workshops led by partners such as Crawford Art Gallery, The Glucksman, and MTU Creativity & Change. Performers from Sauti Studios, Cork Migrant Centre Youth, YMCA Ireland, Music Generation Cork City, The Kabin Studio, and more bring energy and joy to a day that celebrates belonging, cultural diversity, and the power of youth voice.

YouthQuake is more than an event—it’s a movement of possibility, inclusion, and shared ownership, inviting everyone to join in a colourful, creative celebration of Cork’s next generation.
