FabLab Inishowen is a community resource making digital manufacturing expertise, software and tools available in Carndonagh. 

Donegal County Council have funded workshops for business owners to explore how the skills and tools of the FabLab can add value to their business. 

The FabLab includes laser cutting machines, vinyl cutting machines, 3D Printers. The team will support each participant in exploring, designing and making a product or prototype. 

The workshops will comprise of group zoom calls and one-to-one sessions, in the FabLab if safe to do so. 

The Inishowen FabLab is one of nine FabLabs around Ireland. Fab Labs provide widespread access to modern means for invention and began as an outreach project from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The FabLab is a means of access to equipment and expertise in digital creation for people and projects to share. It is an incredible resource to have in the town of Carndonagh.

Currently the FabLab provides local schools with training courses but we want to extend the access to equipment and training to all the community. Using the digital fabrication tools of the FabLab and software tools we can offer a tailored package of training and support.

The course is open to 7 attendees. The showcase exhibition video will be shared with local press, social media, customer database.
