Friars Gate Theatre are proposing to support three artists to exhibit their work here in Friars' Gate for a month each. They are also proposing to collaborate with Class Act Acting to offer a free 8-week drama programme for the Elderly/Older Adults within our Community.

The proposal is two-fold. Firstly they would like to offer a free 8-week Drama programme to the older adults within our community. It would be a unique opportunity for this group as many have spent the last two years isolated having been our most vulnerable during the pandemic. This programme will allow them safely reinsert themselves into society whilst giving them an opportunity to meet new people. It will challenge them to express themselves in a way they may not have done for years.

Secondly they want support to three established Artists with their Exhibitions during August, September and October 2022.
