This spring, members of the Clonoulty-Rossmore Vintage Club, Clonoulty-Rossmore Young-At-Heart Group, Clonoulty Tidy Villages and students from Clonoulty National School, will collaborate with local artist, Aoife Barrett (Print Van Go, travelling print studio) on an exciting new memory and play-themed creative project.

‘Memory Lane: A Playground Festival For All Ages’ celebrates the vibrancy, spontaneity and boundless energy of childhood, while inviting participants to reconnect with the simple joys of life and rediscover their playful side.  Throughout April and May, Aoife will work with the different Clonoulty Community Groups, to facilitate a series of memory and play-inspired workshops and activities, to recreate memories and playthings of the past. 

The project will culminate in a public play-themed festival event at the Clonoulty Community Garden on Saturday May 24th, 3pm-7pm, bringing together project participants in a celebration of nostalgia, imagination and the timeless joy of play.  

By combining the energy of play, the power of nostalgia and the beauty of human connection, this exciting new community project becomes a living, breathing celebration of life.
