Childhood Days Community Art Project

In partnership with Leitrim Volunteer Centre and Youth Work Ireland, Childhood Days will host a series of engaging art workshops led by professional artists Cormac O’Leary supported by Kasia Religa. This meaningful initiative invites young people to take part in a community art project while discovering the value of volunteering and creative collaboration.

Participants will gain hands-on experience working alongside artists, building practical skills, confidence and social connections. Volunteering in a creative setting offers young people a chance to explore their artistic talents, develop leadership and communication skills, and contribute to a shared community goal.

The project encourages inclusion and teamwork, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to create something meaningful. It also supports mental wellbeing by offering a positive outlet for self-expression and stress relief—especially valuable for young people navigating academic pressures.
