Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025 – 2030 Artwork
The Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025 – 2030 is due to be launched in late 2025. Engagement with a broad range of stakeholders has been instrumental in helping build a list of actions for inclusion in the plan. This included an early pre-draft public consultation, facilitating an opportunity for the public to have their say on what they feel are the most important issues that require action in Meath and what locals would like to see achieved for nature in Meath in twenty years’ time.
Responses were impassioned, insightful and ambitious, with many responses portraying vivid depictions of biodiversity rich landscapes.
This project aims to add further value to the responses received to these questions through art. With the help of a wildlife artist and illustrator, this project will create visual impressions of the responses received in the pre-draft public consultation, particularly those which painted a clear vision for nature in Meath in the future.
These illustrations, which will be embedded in the final Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025 – 2030 document, will demonstrate to consultation participants that their voices have been heard and that their vision for biodiversity in County Meath is worth celebrating.
