Drawn to Ennistymon Workshop & Exhibition
Come Visit the Ennistymon Sketching Club Exhibition — Drawn to Ennistymon
Celebrate Heritage Week (16–24 August) with a unique exhibition at Pot Duggan’s, showcasing a year of sketches inspired by Ennistymon’s architecture, streetscapes, nature, local characters, and events.
This vibrant collection features a range of styles and media, each piece offering a personal take on the town. Some works reimagine historic photos by Dorothea Lange, while others draw from contemporary scenes like the Horse Fair, captured by Colm O’Neill. Many were created during our regular sketching meetups, while others were made especially for this show.
Events at Pot Duggan’s:
Opening Night – 16 August, from 4:00 PM
Join us at the Wine Bar & Café for live music by sketcher-musician Emmanuel Stone. More details to come.
Open Sketching Workshop – 17 August, 10:30–12:30
Led by local illustrator Dana Tagar. Free to attend, with materials provided. Weather permitting, we’ll sketch by the River Inagh; otherwise, we’ll draw indoors from local photos. Spaces are limited — booking required.
