Making a short film before you dive into a feature film is the equivalent of the old saying you walk before you run. Without the benefit of experience from making a short film, you can easily get overwhelmed by the long and arduous process of making a feature. A short will also prepare you for most of the challenges you’ll face getting a movie made. 

Donegal film director Gerard Lough will share what he’s learned during a two day filmmaking workshop.

Lough’s experience ranges from the movies Spears (2022) and Night People (2015) as well as eight short films and thirteen music videos.
