Music At Work is a community music initiative in which Music In Community (MIC) will bring high-quality, live music experiences to elderly care settings in Cork. Partnering with St Finbarr's Hospital, Farranlea Road Community Nursing Unit, and Heather House, MIC delivers regular musical visits led by trained musicians across diverse genres. Designed in consultation with residents, staff, and local artists, the programme uses music to spark memory, foster social connection, and enrich cultural life. Through live sessions and collaborative activities, Music At Work supports wellbeing and celebrates the creativity of older people in care.

This initiative is a partnership between Cork City Council, Music In Community, Cork Kerry Community Healthcare, Cork Age Friendly Programme, and Cork Healthy Cities.
