Portlaoise TradFest was established in 2023 and has since grown into a vibrant celebration of traditional Irish music and a key event within the Irish music calendar, featuring workshops, sessions, competitions, and concerts. 

The committee are committed to making Portlaoise TradFest as open and welcoming as possible. This new outreach strand will focus on increasing awareness and accessibility, ensuring that music reaches all corners of our community.
