TRANSITIONS  Youth Creativity Programme 2025/26

TRANSITIONS is a dynamic youth arts initiative developed by Leitrim Sculpture Centre, building on the successful Collaboration Through Making (CTM) programme. It offers young people immersive, hands-on experiences in creative practice, both within the Centre’s professional facilities and in school settings.

The programme introduces participants to a wide range of traditional and contemporary techniques including printmaking, ceramics, mosaics, clay work, sculpture, and 2D/3D printing. Guided by professional artists, young people gain access to new materials, processes, and the opportunity to create in a professional gallery environment—supporting artistic growth, confidence, and aspiration.

2025–26 Programme Structure:

• Stage 1 (Sept–Feb): A series of workshops in traditional printmaking and ceramics held in two technical areas of the Sculpture Centre.
• Stage 2: A group exhibition in the LSC galleries showcasing work created by young people throughout the year. Additional work from other youth or school programmes may be included.

This programme is delivered in collaboration with local secondary schools and is not open to the public.
