The Creative Ireland Programme at Wexford County Council is working with The Hatch Lab in Gorey to establish an exciting residency for artists wishing to grow the business side of their arts practice. Situated at The Hatch Lab, the artists will creatively engage with the residents there in a way that is functional and beneficial to their business needs and those of the Hatch Lab. This will include workshops, performances, recitals, concerts, talks, film screenings and other arts activities to inspire new connections and conversations about creativity in the business community and new ways of thinking.

The artist will produce an event relating to their residencies for Culture Night, and engage with the wider Gorey community during their residencies, contributing to The Hatch Lab’s position of attracting the next wave of young entrepreneurs.

This project supports our strategic priority to develop Participation for Placemaking, activating new spaces with creative opportunities.
