Sligo Drama Circle is a community based organisation.  It has excellent working relationships with many other locally based organisations, ranging from school drama groups, to local musical societies, to professional theatre/film companies and even to the Hawk’s Well Theatre.

To mark their 70th anniversary, Sligo Drama Circle are launching a commemorative Book in 2026. The book, entitled “Treading the Boards”, contains a chronological history of Sligo Drama Circle since 1956. The group have been working on the book over the past two years collating memorabilia - including posters, programmes, tickets, flyers, press cuttings, photographs.

A commission for the creative design, layout, and artistic elements of the book is required.
