A workshop for artists and those working in creative industries will take place in the Carnegie Library, Dún Laoghaire on Monday 19 January 2026. The workshop will explore how, in a practical way, creatives can promote sustainability in their practice.

The workshop will look at a number of themes, which participants will be invited to prioritise, covering circular economy, plastics and recycling, biodiversity, fast fashion, climate justice and energy. It will build towards participants working in small groups to visualise practical projects and actions that can promote sustainability.

At the end of the session, we hope to discuss ways that we can foster further engagement, and how Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council might work directly with you to actually deliver on some of the projects/ideas that emerge from the discussions.
