The Meath County Council Gaeltacht Scholarship scheme will be advertised on January 19th 2026. 

This scheme will assist in funding a students attendance on a residential only Gaeltacht course during the summer of 2026. 

Eight  grants of €300 each  in honour of Mother Columba will be made available to students attending DEIS second-level schools; and a further six grants of €300 each in honour of Máire Ní Raghallaigh will also be made available to students attending DEIS second-level schools. 

The grants will be recoupable against fees paid at recognised residential Irish colleges during the summer of 2026.
