Funding artists, arts activities and development is a key strategic objective of the Meath County Arts Development Plan. To help maximise the potential for arts provision in the county, Meath County Council Arts Office operates a range of annual bursary and award schemes. 

Supported by Creative Ireland, the Creative Communities Award is intended to support a wide range of community groups and schools in the provision of community arts projects which promote cultural engagement and enhance long-term partnerships with professional artists.  

Maximum amount available through this grant is €2000
