Mount Briscoe Organic Farm in Daingean, County Offaly in collaboration with Daingean Development Association is proud to host HedgeRow Fest 2026 a groundbreaking, boutique festival dedicated to Ireland’s living landscape infrastructure: the hedgerows. 

This event celebrates hedgerow ecology, culture, and wellness, aligned with National Hedgerow Week 2026 and takes place at Mount Briscoe on September 5 & 6. A collective of artists, poets, authors, creatives, foragers, farmers, ecologists and specialists bring to life our hedgerows visually, through the spoken word, music, poem or prose and visual art. This new boutique Hedge, Lit and Wellness Festival focuses on creativity, nature, hedgerows and slowing down. The acclaimed Richard Negus, author of Words from the Hedge is reading on both days. 

The festival will showcase the ancient art of hedgelaying with master classes to demonstrate these skills and the positive impact they have on nature and climate action.
