Positive Ageing Week 2026 celebrates ageing and the contribution and agency of older people.

• Mindfulness and Breathwork sessions in Tullamore and Edenderry libraries.
• Water Colour Canvas Painting Workshop in Edenderry Library
• Walking the Camino Join us at Clara Library to for an inspirational talk, on walking the Camino   including tips and strategies to help you make your journey an enjoyable and momentous experience.
• Intergenerational Table Quiz in Clara Library.
• Bridging Generations Through Robotics! Join us at Tullamore Library for a fun-filled intergenerational programme where grandparent and grandkids come together to build VEX robots!
• The Chorus Connection Community Choir will be performing a special programme to celebrate Positive Aging Week (Tullamore Branch).We will be hosting coffee mornings in various branches around the county in Banagher, Birr, Clara Ferbane, Edenderry, Kilcormac and Tullamore.
